NURS 5310 - Advanced Adult and Pediatric Physical Assessment for FNP Practice3 unit(s) The purpose of this course is to examine adult and pediatric health and physical assessment principles and techniques. Emphasis is on development of assessment and documentation of the health of individuals across the lifespan. Focus is on development of general and specialized assessment skills as a basis for clinical decision-making in a primary care practice.
Prerequisites: Admission to the School of Nursing MSN FNP concentration and/or consent of instructor.
Hours: (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours)
