EDMA 5120 - Reading Instruction in the Primary Grades

(3 Units)

(Formerly EDRG 4240) Places emphasis on all aspects of reading readiness, including oral language development. The techniques of beginning reading, explicity skills instruction, and literature support, for the literacy learning of a diverse population will be addressed. The continuum of state standards that begin with the Preschool Learning Foundations and Frameworks are included.
