Examination and application of concepts related to health program planning. Explores the history of public health planning and current regional, state, and national health goals. Applies principles of community organization, planned change, and strategic planning to develop, implement, and evaluate health services, education, and preventive programs

Satisfies upper division writing proficiency requirement.

Prerequisites: HSCI 3100 and completion of the Writing Proficiency Screening Test with a passing score.
