SW 5031 - Foundation II: Generalist Social Work Practice Using a Strengths Perspective

(Formerly Foundations of Social Work Practice, Policy, and Services II) This second foundation course in social work practice concentrates on generalist practice knowledge and skills with groups, organizations, and communities. This course lays the foundation for the advanced concentration in integrative practice with a focus on practical applications of strategies for advocacy and social change with oppressed groups.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Social Work Program, SW 5030.
