NURS 2850 - Introduction to Pharmacology and Nutrition

(Formerly NURS 2840) Focus on health promotion and therapeutic nutrition across the adult lifespan. Introduction to pharmacology with an overview of pharmacokinetics, drug classifications, medication administration, and utilization of information sources.

Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing program, students must follow curricular roadmap for pre-licensure nursing or consent of instructor.
