HIST 4310 - Judaism and Jewish History: A Survey

(Formerly HIST 3310) A survey of the history of Judaism and the Jews from their origin to the rise of the state of Israel. Emphasis will be on Jewish thought, Jewish institutions, and the relationship between the Jewish and the non-Jewish world.

Prerequisites: One year of college-level history or consent of instructor.
