PSYC 5930 - Practicum in Behavior Analysis (3 Units) The course consists of supervised experience in the assessment and modification of behavior with various types of clients. Activities will include assessment interviews and observations, analysis of controlling variables within the immediate environment of the client, assessment of resources for change, and the implementation and evaluation of behavior change procedures. Students will give oral presentations and evaluation to the faculty supervisor and fellow practicum students on a regular basis during case conferences. The typical client will be from a family counseling agency; a developmentally delayed child or young adult living in the family residence or group home; or a patient in a psychiatric facility. Prerequisites: PSYC 4720 or 4790; PSYC 5780 and consent of instructor.
