MDIS 1200 - The Stanislaus Seminar in First-Year Experience

(3 Units) Introductory first-year seminar linked with a section of ENGL 1000 encourages students to engage with their university education, introducing them to academic culture. Students define personal learning goals through exploration of educational issues, review of university resources and success skills, and practice in information retrieval and academic writing. Satisfies G.E. area E1. Corequisites: Enrollment in a linked section of ENGL 1000.
