MATH 1600 - Statistics (4 Units) Introductory course designed for students in the behavioral, biological, and social sciences. The description of sample data, probability and probability distributions, sampling and estimation, testing hypotheses, correlation and regression, introduction to analysis of variance. Satisfies G.E. area B3. Prerequisites: MATH 0106, or 0110, or a passing score on the ELM test, or equivalent (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 2 hours)
