ANTH 5250 - The Ethnoecology of Southeast Asia (4 Units) Drawing on case studies from Island and Mainland Southeast Asia (including southern China), this course explores the long history of human-environmental interaction in the region. We examine the causes of stress and instability in that interaction and the attempts to restore viable relationships and systems. (Course offered under the subjects ANTH and GEOG) Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
