COMM 4180 - Health Communication

(3 Units) Provides a framework for better understanding the processes and theories of Health Care Communication, and the improvement of communication competencies for interaction between Health Care professionals and the public they serve. Covers interpersonal, group, and organizational contexts. Also, examines intercultural and ethical elements of Health Care Communication.Prerequisites: COMM 3140 and COMM 3900, or consent of instructor.(Spring)
