CJ 5202 - Policy Research & Program Evaluation in Criminal Justice(3 Units) Students read reports and papers on the effectiveness of criminal justice agencies that target identifiable goals in an effort to conduct evaluation research. Integrates theoretical perspectives on criminal justice policy with specialized training in applied program evaluation research in order to develop students’ understanding of the substantive and procedural issues in evaluation research. Students also examine research reports designed to develop agencies.Prerequisites: CJ 5200 or CJ 5201 or consent of graduate director; graduate standing.
