Credit by Examination for General Education

Stanislaus State grants credit to those students who pass examinations that have been approved for credit systemwide. These include the Advanced Placement Examination, College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations, and International Baccalaureate Credit.  The examinations listed on the Course Credit  page in the catalog are accepted for the amount of credit indicated, subject to the achievement scores noted.
