To qualify for graduation, students must complete a minimum of 120 units overall.

*If you did not complete courses equivalent to PSYC 2010, PSYC 2020, and MATH 1600, please consult your academic advisor as you develop your academic plan to complete these necessary prerequisites.

Please note that most courses in the major may be completed with a minimum grade of D- or better; however, students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 overall, in residence, and in the major. A grade of C- or higher in a 4000-level Research Seminar is required to satisfy the Writing Proficiency requirement. Courses may be taken on a CR/NC basis only if letter grading is not offered. No more than 6 units of Credit-graded courses can be applied toward the major. Students thinking about applying to graduate programs, should check pre-requisites for admissions and note the higher GPA standards.
