A grade of C- or higher in a 4000-level Research Seminar is required to satisfy the Writing Proficiency requirement. Courses may be taken on a CR/NC basis only if letter grading is not offered. No more than 6 units of Credit-graded courses can be applied toward the major. Students thinking about applying to graduate programs, should check pre-requisites for admissions and note the higher GPA standards.
