Roadmap: B.S. in Chemistry for Transfers

***FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS ***

By completing the following Roadmap, you will earn a BS in Chemistry. Students should have completed a two-year Transfer with Associate’s Degree program, or a minimum of 60 units completing GE Areas A through E.

The Bachelor of Science degree program is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS) and provides comprehensive training in chemistry for students wishing to become professional chemists in industry or government, or who plan to attend graduate school. Students wishing to receive a degree approved by the ACS must complete CHEM 4610, and either MATH 2530 or MATH 2460, in addition to the Bachelor of Science degree requirements listed. Students obtaining an approved degree are eligible to join the ACS immediately upon graduation.

This Roadmap is a recommended advising map to complete the degree program in two years. Please consult your academic advisor as you develop your academic plan.
