Roadmap: B.S. in Biological Sciences for Transfers

***FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS ***
By completing the following Roadmap, you will earn a BS in Biological Sciences with a concentration in General Biology. Students should have completed a two-year Transfer with Associate’s Degree program, or a minimum of 60 units completing GE Areas A through E.
This program assumes that the student transferring from a California community college has completed the appropriate lower division prerequisites and cognates for the major (the equivalents of BIOL 1050/1150, CHEM 1100.1110, and PHYS 2100/2100) as well as GE courses equivalent to CSU Stanislaus Communication Skills (Area A), Math (Area B3), HIST 2600 (Area D1a), Physical Education (Area E2), and 15 additional units in lower-division General Education. Students desiring to go on to professional or graduate programs may require additional coursework.
