Roadmap: B.M. in Music, Jazz Performance Concentration for Transfers


The Bachelor of Music in Music is an intensive curriculum designed for students wishing to prepare for graduate study in music and for specific professional purposes. Degree majors include instrumental and choral music education (credential preparation), instrumental, vocal, and piano performance, composition, and jazz studies. This roadmap is intended for students interested in the Jazz Performance concentration.

This Roadmap is a recommended advising map to complete the degree program in two years. Please consult your academic advisor as you develop your academic plan.

***NOTE FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS ***

If you have completed requirements and have gained a proficiency level to enter as a Junior student, you may follow the roadmap of the third and fourth year. Please consult with an academic advisor to determine if you are eligible to transfer as a Junior level BM in Music student.
