Note to students intending to enter a teaching credential program:

  • Students interested in preparing for the Multiple Subject Credential Program (for elementary school teachers) should find the appropriate subject concentration under the Liberal Studies  major.
  • Students interested in preparing for the Single Subject Credential Program(for secondary school teachers) should refer to the department pertaining to their subject of interest.
  • Please also refer to the Teacher Education  section of this catalog for specific information and admission requirements for the teaching credential programs.
