NURS 5370 - Clinical Practice in Primary Care II

This course provides the student with the clinical experiences in primary health care settings necessary for the management of primary child and adult health care, including wellness promotion, illness prevention, and treatment of common health problems in children and adults from newborn through the older adult. Emphasis is on critical thinking and evidence-based practice to promote wellness lifestyles and reduce illness risks for children, families, and older adults. Focus is on family-centered care.

Prerequisites: NURS 5360 and at least 4 units of NURS 5110.
