EDEL 9990 - Dissertation

A culminating, rigorous, applied research study of significant educational issue that contributes to the improvement of public PreK-12 or community college practice or policy. Dissertation research must evidence originality, critical and independent thinking, and achievement of doctoral goals. Students’ progress toward completion of the dissertation beginning with the proposal and advancing toward completed chapters and a defense of the dissertation. Must enroll in a minimum of 12 units.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Ed.D. program; successful completion of Written Qualifying Examination; advancement to candidacy, and consent of instructor.
