Roles of mathematical models in society. Use of mathematical models to solve real world problems. Models in behavioral, life, management, and social sciences will be emphasized. Not applicable to the requirements for the majors or minor in mathematics.

Satisfies G.E. area F1.

Prerequisites: MATH 1040, 1500, 1600, 1610, or 1620 with a grade of C- or better.
