Basic knowledge and skills requisite to advanced study of Art History research methodology, writing and publication, survey of graduate education in the United States, and discussion of broad aesthetic and art historical issues.

Satisfies upper-division writing proficiency requirement.

Prerequisites: Completion of the Writing Proficiency Screening Test with a passing score; upper-division standing.
