KINS 4550 - Health Behavior

(3 Units)
Enhanced health knowledge and positive attitudes are necessary, but not sufficient for behavior change.  This course will examine theories and models that assist in increasing healthy behaviors for youth and adults.  Consideration of cultural differences, active communication, preparation, modification, and shared client-professional outcomes will be examined. Limited to junior and senior standing Kinesiology majors.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235, MATH 1600, KINS 1000.
