KINS 4030 - Epidemiology and Health Promotion

(Formerly KINS 3030: Cardiovascular Health, Fitness, and Exercise) Public health based course promoting an understanding of epidemiology (distribution, determinants, and measurements) of chronic diseases and the role of health promotion concepts of assessment and intervention to alter modifiable risk factors. Limited to junior and senior Kinesiology majors.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1010/1020, ZOOL 2250, ZOOL 2235, MATH 1600.
