CHEM 3080 - Chemistry of Nuclear Energy

(3 Units)

The course will consider many aspects of nuclear chemistry including forms of radiation, nuclear reactions, military applications and applications in chemistry, medicine, archeology, and art. Particular emphasis will be placed on nuclear energy production. (Not applicable to the major or minor in Chemistry.)

Prerequisites: A lower-division science course.
