CIS 4740 - Advanced Database Management Systems

Continuation of CIS 4720. Students will spend most of their time completing DBMS projects using commercial database systems. Emphasis will be placed on the ability to design and execute a real world DBMS for real firms using mainframe and micro packages.

Prerequisites: CIS 4720.
