NURS 4400 - Community Health Nursing

(3 Units) Theory and principles applied to the nursing role in the promotion of health and prevention of disease. Analysis of problems related to health and delivery of care at various levels: total population, as well as individuals, families, and groups.(Formerly NURS 3400)Prerequisites: NURS 4800, 4810 (for Pre-licensure). Concurrent enrollment in NURS 4410 recommended for RN-BSN students.
