PHIL 4150 - Cognitive Phenomenology

Introduction to phenomenological method as an approach to the study of the mind's relation to its environment. Readings will stress Husserl's theory of intentionality, Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology of perception, and related developments in phenomenological psychology, with a view to understanding the relationship between subjectivity and information processing.

Prerequisites: PHIL 3300 or 3500.
