(Formerly Theory of Knowledge) Analysis of the concepts of knowledge, truth, belief, evidence, certainty; readings in classical and contemporary theories. Emphasis on problems relating to skepticism and the quest for certainty.

Prerequisites: 3 units in philosophy and sophomore standing.
